2006 Z4 coupe, Manual, £6000 reduced price!

BMW Z4 3.0si for sale, in Silver Grey with Red leather interior. The car is an SE spec which means it has the more comfortable suspension but still retains the same engine etc. as the Sport models. The car has 142,000 miles but is a lovely car to drive and doesn't feel or look its miles. I drove a few other examples before this one and it felt the tightest out of the lot.

The car has a few desirable options such as; MFSW, Heated seats, Electric memory seats, Folding mirrors, piano black trim & cruise control.

The car has MOT until June 2017 with no advisories, It also has a fully stamped service book, the car is due a service shortly (in terms of time) but still shows ~8500 miles to a service on the computer.

Since i have had the car i have carried out some work on the car. I fitted Vredestein ultrac sessanta tyres all around which have only done 1000 miles and are non-runflat tyres which have improved the handling and ride quality over the standard items. I have fitted new aero blades and A ZHP gearknob to improve the shift quality of the gearbox, The biggest job i have done is having a new steering column fitted to the car, this is a known weak spot on these and not a cheap fix so having had this done is a big benefit in my mind. I have receipts for all of the work mentioned.

Cosmetically the car is in great condition with no door dents etc that cars generally pick up. There are a few minor stonechips on the nose and a small mark on the front bumper from hitting a high kerb at some point but this is me being ctirical. The wheels were refurbished in anthracite only 3000 miles ago and have no kerb damage.

Mechanically the car is great with no smoking, rattles or other issues. The engine pulls well and still feels very strong. the clutch and gearbox all feel good with no slack and the steering is as you would expect.

Overall this is a great example of a Z4 coupe and still turns heads. It is not a perfect example but is very good considering its mileage/age and the price reflects this (it is the cheapest on here currently). I am only selling due to an impending house move so the extra cash could com in handy, equally i wont give the car away if i don't get what it is worth.

Thanks for looking, any questions please ask.

Seems like a great car for the cash, quite rare in SE spec too

GLWTS OP

Great deal for the mileage and spec OP!

hopz121, SE spec is rare for a reason - try looking at a comparison of SE seats with Sport seats.

But regardless of that, this still looks like a good deal (the red definitely helps)!

I don't want to upset anyone but I think you'll struggle to get 6800 in honesty.
Numerous sport spec ones around 100k for 7-7.5k
I watched a 85k si sport go for 7k on AT the other day...that being said, it was bought and relisted at 9k by whoever bought it

I have to agree that I think its going to be a hard sell at £6800.
I've been looking to a coupe and I don't mind high mileage but with decent Si Sports with sub 100k miles going for around £7.5k-£8.5k I wouldn't want to pay more than £6k for a 150k mile se. Just my opinion, maybe its fair maybe not but I don't think id be alone in my thinking.

I will take on the words from you all, it is still the cheapest car on the market currently (I think)...
I will look at loer offers if I get a serious enquiry.

Shock horror but, I actually prefer the SE seats- I don't like the way the sport seats seem to crush my ribs!

SE seats are completely fine- anyone would think the sport seats add 50 bhp the way some people go on!!

Lovely looking car OP and a cracking colour combo  for me and a lot of people the only thing that lets is down is no sports seats however, it is priced according so season permitting I would like to think this should sell. GLWTS

Sorry if I sounded a bit critical - wasn't meant that way at all.

But there is nothing of me, so I need the Sport seats to keep me in them when I'm in a hurry and there are bends!

I accept they don't add any power though (sadly).

If I was still looking I would still be interested in yours regardless as it is a great package for the price.

You really deserve to find a buyer soon.

Thanks for the kind words, still no buyers had a few offers and around the 5-5.5k mark..... had a few messages of people wanting to buy it after Christmas at £6k but I would rather it went to a forum member.

I had taken a deposit on the car (3 weeks ago) but sadly the other part couldn't summon the funds so this is still for sale.
Christmas present for someone ?!
