2006 Z4 convertible

Hello all have been reading your problems and suggestions for fixing. I have a 2006 Z4, my convertible top won't unlock to go down. I have tired the manually opening the locks, the thing is only the passenger side will unlock. I an beyond confused. Has anyone had this issue and how have you corrected it?
