Hi , I have a BMW Z4 3.0 si sport coupe which I am considering selling
3.0si Sport .66000 miles . Manual gearbox, xenons , sensors , red coral leather
THIS CAR NEEDS RECOMMISSIONING SERVICING AND A BIT OF TLC TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD
it's a 2006 si sport manual coupe with 66000 miles and only 2 previous owners ,
I bought it 4 years ago and parked it in my garage but due to continuing health/namely back problems I have not been able to put it back on the road . The furthest I got was getting the wheels fully refurbished in ferric grey , so they are totally unmarked , also had the oil changed
The car has been off the road and out of MOT since 2015 . It has been stored in a dry garage with the rest of my car's ever since , previous owner did the same
When I purchased the car I drove it over 80 miles and It didn't miss a beat , I was always into e46s M3s and it surprised me how powerful this was , since then it has only been taken short journeys to keep things moving.
Got it started a few weeks ago and due to the battery being flat a lot of the dash lights are on ,
When I bought it I knew it had a few faults that I planned to sort out but I have a few other toys that got my attention more as I had difficulty getting in and out of the coupe
Passenger window not working as it should , think it's off the runner
Rear driver side spring broken
Driver headlight washer cap was missing ( new one here just not fitted or painted )
Central locking not working remotely from the key, it was when I got it probably a battery problem as everything locks manually still
Will need a new battery , oil change and basically a good service with being off the road for so long , oil was changed when I got it but I would recommend doing it again
I had never planned to sell this car as I love the shape of these rare cars and big engine sports cars like this are fast becoming a thing of the past and I knew that this was definitely going to become a future classic especially with the limited number of coupes available but I don't see the point in keeping something that I'm not going to be able to enjoy for the foreseeable future ,
£6750 which I think is fair enough as mint low milers fetching double , and these will only appreciate in time , I sold my Laguna seca blue M3 for £10k and tried to buy it back 2 years later for £14 but the guy was wise , kept it and still has it to this day
My nephew is torturing me to let him strip it down and turn it into his new drift toy but I think that's a bit of a waste at the minute considering how rare they are becoming now so I'd rather move it on
