Well priced I'd say. My coupé was pretty much the same spec but I managed to get it for 12250. So I'd say you're about right :).

Hi there,

Does the car have the basic stereo in, or the Carver Amp/10Speaker?
And what type of headlight (HID, Xenon)?

(I read the Si came with Carver/Amp as standard or is that just the US version?)

Cheers,
..

The car does not have the Carver amp/10speakers I believe it is the basic system which was more than enough for me.
Headlights are not Xenons and I was going to fit HIDs but as I need to sell I will leave that for the next person if they feel they want them.

Thanks

Hi thanks for replying,

From reading the forum,
the standard audio gets such a knocking - that I've gotten the impression its terrible.

I have a Civic and the sound is fine in that for me, I can't see how a BMW stereo could be any worse.
I love driving to music but i'm no audiophile/ICE expert.

A few more Questions:
- Does it have AUX/iPod input

- Auto folding wing mirrors
- Auto Headlights/Washers
(I'm sure these would be answered by me getting hold of the BMW spec list for the model)

I'm interested in the car,
but won't have finance in place until end of August/early September.
(Which unfortunately doesn't help you atm.)

Thanks again,
..

Good luck with the sale and bad news about the redundancy - whats your new business going to involve if you don't mind me asking? Good luck with it whatever it is!!

I am a carpenter by trade and used to work for a small building company and had the use of a company van. However work on the commercial side has dried up so I am setting myself up and working on private homes etc. This is why the car is forsale as I need to buy a van and ideally rent a workshop for machinery.

The car really is stunning and I will really miss it - if someone buys it that is!

To answer the above question - the car does have auto wipers and auto lights but not folding mirrors. There is no AUX point in at the minute but this is an easy and inexpensive thing to retro fit as my brother did it in his Z4.

Thanks

Looking for £12000 which is what I have been offered as a trade in if I get no interest! Superb value for this type of car I think!

Sorry to have messed you around mate - after deliberation the misses reckons we need to have 4 seats :(

Great looking car tho in excellent condition, real shame you have to sell - good look with the sale

Looks like its M3 cab time for me - that ticks the 4 seats box!

No problem Jason and hope you find a good M3. Bought a private van for my business so don't need to trade in now but need to sell to pay back loan!
I can re fit the original suspension if preferred and the price could be brought down a bit to compensate for this.

Hi,

Had a fair amount of work come in these last 2 weeks,
so I might be in the running again.

But one potential snag is

- does the car have the 2 ISOFIX hoops/bars fitted in the passenger seat?

You'd have to stick your hand in the gap/join between
the seat base and the back to check. (unless you already know of course)

Cheers,
..

Bump - now fitted with original suspension and geometry all checked. Replaced a rear spring due to original one being snapped. Other side was changed about 6 months ago so no need to worry about the common problem with snapping springs. Car will be sold with 12 months MOT and happy to negotiate 6 months road tax off price if sold before renewal is due.

Final reduction as I dont want the car to sit in the garage over the winter and need the money for my business!!
