Yeah, Its nice but the problem I have is... I'd rather stick another £2,500 towards the pot and get the zed I've posted in this thread

I'm basically looking for a well kept TT around £3k tops
I might be pissing in the wind but I think I'll find what I want eventually.

the other problem is i'm not travelling to Essex for a car :P

The Si roady in post link looks a good move if you want to enjoy zero depreciation Zedding 8) Just leave it as it is
Travelling for car,s is part of the game , some of my best buy,s have been the furthest away
A well sorted TT for £3k ? dare say that is possible but you would probably need to travel & be prepared to look at some "mint" donkey,s :P

I have a lovely TT roadster I'm going to sell up soon to make way for a z4. Lol. Nice ones do exist for your price. I saw this z4 the other day advertised does look cheap.

I've been looking for a couple of weeks for a 3.0 myself & this one caught my eye love the leather but hate the wood. I'm too far away for a drop in look but on the pics as well as the headlight wash, bad corrosion on the rear left alloy & rust inside the boot lid so probably plenty of other issues. Shame :(

I put in a cheeky offer of £6,000 to which I received a rude email back.
On that principle I won't be dealing with the place.
If they had any level of professionalism, I would have still been very interested @ £6500 which was already a low price.

I would have viewed in the metal & used any faults you could find to squeeze that little bit more out of the ask  always help,s when you are stood on their toes with a fistfull of ££££

Yes indeed, but there's no excuse for plain rudeness though, £6000 isn't a completely obscene offer..it is just a 7.69% price drop after all so their reply was unwarranted from even a private seller, let alone a dealer.

Whenever someone offers me a figure I'm not pleased with depending what it is I'd say what other higher offers I've received and declined were and the amount I am looking for...sometimes it turns a no sale situation into a potential sale.

What did the email say ?
I received an email which was blank from them, I replied saying it was blank and they responded with what do you want us to say about your silly offer??

I found this quite rude.

A simple, sorry the price is £6500 would have been more appropriate.

If I offered £3,000 then I'd understand a such a reply.

Maybe I'm being hypercritical, but they are a business after all and should act accordingly.

any reputable place would see any offer as an opportunity to make a deal and try to make one work, I guess these guys can pick and choose their buyers

I appreciate that your intention was a starting gambit, for a further discussion to happen. BUT....
You've put in an offer that's £500 quid under an already decent price (by consensus on here) without seeing the car. He hasn't had the chance to even sell it yet, and if he's a trader on Autotrader, I bet he'll be able to pull up the number of views the car has had. (We've all had a butcher's now remember)

Given this it shouldn't be a surprise that he declined your offer on a car you hadn't seen.

Ok, a rude reply is unprofessional, but you've basically done the equivalent of texting him saying

"give u 6g for cash m8 innit"

PS. I quite like the wood and leather, but Blue? naaah, not for me.

Its been on their pitch previously and that's why there is a £7000 tag on display, no idea where it currently is..the private plate on the vehicle is already on another car so its not like they've not even taken receivership yet.

So I guess they were unable to shift it at £7,000 for whatever reason.

Yea.....Bit rude,but pretty funny actually....

What the fudge?? they have three different sets of wheels on that car in the pics... and also the round indicators are there in some and not in others.. :?

also the boot lifters are rusted.. (not a major issue.. but could be a tell tale sign its not all shiny shiny ?)

Why are the indicators missing in some pictures too?

Looks like there's possibly a few underlying issues with this car hence the price? I know I shouldn't but I like the leather and wood too!
