Good day Zed Heads,

Saying hello as a new member well as introducing my new to me 2006 e85 with 87K miles (140km). The car is Montego Blue in color with an automatic transmission and paddle shifters. Originally I was after a manual transmission but after test drive, I really couldn't pass up on the car. Interior and exterior are both in excellent condition aside from a broken cup holder and a scraped front bottom lip.

Below are a list of repairs and work I am planning to tend to this summer when my availability allows. I am a school teacher by day and Summer vacation is nearly approaching, however the end of the school year is always a demanding time of year. That said I am eager to start working on the zed, it has been a blast to drive. Further, exploring this forum has been enjoyable. I think the abundance of knowledge here will surely assist me in some of the work I would like to complete.
  • Oil change and new filters (air, oil, cabin)
  • Replace oil filter housing gasket (currently leaking)
  • Replace transmission fluid
  • Clean up curb rash on wheels
  • Wind shield cowl cleanup
  • Replace surround wind shield gasket
  • Restore headlights (they are foggy, thank you California sun)
  • Replace cracked third brake light
  • Replace trunk hydraulic arm
  • Repair and touch up lower portion of front bumper (grill is not correctly fitted and aligned in lower portion of bumper)
  • Find a way to hook up current DICE media integration system to play audio from phone (Bluebus?)
  • Replace lower control arms
Mechanically the car is sound and a blast to drive. Aesthetically, it is quite pleasing to look at as well.

If you made it this far, cheers!

Thanks for the add and enjoy the day.
