Well, my first couple of days with the car and what can i say. love it. I had a 987S boxster back in 06 and while it was a good steer, it has nothing on the sense of occasion you get from driving this Z4M. I think it is fair to say this car is what i wanted the boxster to be. The whole feel of the car is just spot on for me. I'm sure there are faster cars, but for driving enjoyment this is right up there for me.
It needs a good clean, i think i made a dent in lincolnshire's fly population on the way back home on saturday.... Cleaning will have to wait until after holiday now im ashamed to say.
I made my first change to the car this morning...... I spent the journey home from collecting the car from Kev wondering why i couldnt get any radio stations on the nav unit that ended in an odd number. found out how to fix that from an x3 forum this morning, essentially the stereo was set to USA not Europe ....
i also managed to get the bluetooth working which isnt as easy as other cars ive had! I was pleased that spotify worked with the good womans ipod so i'll have to get an iPod. my other car has a dock as well so probably a good investment.
It really is in great nick and the engine bay is a beauty. I'm actually looking forward to cleaning this car, and keeping it mint! I cant wait to see it after a good polish, i think the imola red looks so much better in the metal than in pictures!
