2006 facelift suspension changes

what changes were made to the suspension in 2006?
was the car made more comfortable?

i drove an earlier version and was not impressed by refinement or ride. felt like a skateboard, very hard and rattly! especially the roof which to my surprise was not insulated and shoed metalwork

worth me looking at a facelift?
 
Not aware that any changes were made, to face lift models, on the suspension except that Sport models, like mine, came with Sport suspension and SE models have standard factory suspension which gives the car a 15mm higher ride which is a tad more comfortable.

All uk Z4 models are fully insulated.

Only models in their countries with manual roof had no insulation.

No difference on pre and post facelift regards suspension. The real differences relate to if it has ///M sport suspension (all pre 06 3.0's for instance) rim size and tyre type RFT or normal tyres.

Roofs already covered - triple layer inc. insulation and no exposed metal on UK examples. Same roof 02 to 09
