Putting my beloved Z4C up for sale, after 6 years of almost faultless ownership it’s time to move on.
This is one of the best equipped Z4Cs in the country with (to my knowledge) every single possible option. The car has been serviced consistently and always goes to a BMW specialist garages for any work. The car has just passed its MOT so comes with a 12month MOT.

If I didn’t already have one in the same colour, I’d be all over this. Great options list. Best of luck with the sale.

What’s going on, does nobody want coupes any more? Have you got it advertised elsewhere?

X2..

I suspect the used car market in general, is seeing some prices mildly soften & some have sadly slid a good bit further, more recently :o

Hopefully, the OP will sell now - that summer is around the corner  :driving:

I agree, however I also think geography had a part to play in this case. Unfortunately people are not always prepared to travel long distances to view or collect cars, which is a shame as for me that first drive home in a new car is always a very special drive. These days it's so much easier to get a really good idea of what your looking at before you arrive. We've just recently sold our house in Highland Scotland and we received a very good offer from a couple in London who only had a video walkround from my phone.
Best of luck with the sale, and anyone down south interested should remember it's easy to fly up to Edinburgh, visit a great city then really enjoy that first drive home.

Was up on AutoTrader and Gumtree and only had a few bits of interest, I do wonder if the offensive price of fuel has played a part in squashing the market

The 2nd hand market has 100% slowed down, the prices of eco lunch boxes was off the scale just 4 months ago with mega mileage things like a C1 or Aygo were fetching a couple of grand.
Thanks dude, hopefully it does go although admittedly I will be devastated to see it leave

Thats a good point RE location, sods law when I put mine up on AT it was the only car within 150miles and a day or so later there was another cheaper but lower spec Coupe up for sale :headbang: I will wait a few weeks and put it back up on AT and see what happens

Hi OP,

Car looks lovely and is decent specification which is a huge positive. Location shouldn't be an issue for the right buyer to be fair as people will travel for the right car at the right price.

My 2 pence worth on things to help the sale,

- Maybe get it get an oil service and brake fluid too as that will help with the sale as its already overdue.
- Get the wheels refurbished, for the £200-£300 it will cost it will really help with the sale.
- Get the rust issue on the wings sorted (i am surprised this has happened so soon after getting treated, maybe ask the company who did the work to have another look)

Most buyers of these cars will want to be able to drive away and enjoy the car as it is, when it needs money spending on it right away it does put people off slightly. It looks a lovely car so it would be great to get it up together and keep it looking / running great for years to come.

GLWTS I am sure the right buyer will come eventually.

Thanks mate

Useful points and ones I have been considering, like you say for not a whole lot it would solve basically all the negatives the car has!
To clarify the brand new rear 1/4 on the drivers side is mint, its the original 3 that are the issue

Maybe its the 98% of me that doesnt want to sell the car thats stopping me from really chasing it and sorting it out
I will 100% get another coupe in the future unfortunately life has presented other priorities at the moment!
