I recenty purchased a 2006 Z4E85 Roadster. Only has 19k original miles. Car was running flawlessly for several weeks.
One day, after refueling on a near empty tank, the gas pump was running extremely slow (seevice station storage tank low), so I only added 4 gallons. When done, on the 1st try, the car stalled immediately. It started on the 2nd try, but idled a little rough for about 5 seconds, then stalled. I precedeeded on the 3rd try to give some gas until stable ( about 10-15 seconds) to keep the car running. Once warmed up a little bit, the car would run smooth. I preceeded to add fuel injector cleaner, run the tank near empty and refueled at a different station with premium gas and added fuel injector cleaner.
The car still doesn't start on the first try without stalling immediately but starts on 2nd try and runs smooth. After warm up and driving, car runs very smooth and starts on 1st try.
Temperature at cold start up has been only about 45-55 degrees F. So not really cold.
Is this a fuel filter and regulator problem?
Thanks in advance.
