2006 BMW E85 Z4M Roadster, Imola Red, £12k

Hi all, yes, its got some miles on it but its been well looked after by myself and previoius owners, I would never send a car for an MOT with any known issues. Has the odd stonechip etc that comes with age but looks great! Got lots of attention as a newcomer at my local BMWCC meet a few weeks back.

Priced realistically, its good value I think and the replacement is already on its way so I'll need the room.

Oh yes, Red ones are faster! 8)

Lovely! Looks an honest MR at a very reasonable ask. What pork are you getting?

I've purchased a very nice 987 Boxster S - I had a 986 years ago that was very rough/cheap and felt I had unfinished business with the Boxster. Its Speed Yellow so almost a direct reenactment of many of the twin tests that were in the mags back in 2006 - and the Top Gear episode which featured both cars in the exact same spec.

Hope you enjoy it.

I bought a 05 3.2 S 987 after my Z4 M coupe back in 2016, and was really disappointed with it. So used to the loose back end of the Z4M, the Boxster felt too polished for my liking, and the 3.2 isn't a match for the S54, down on power and in character. Also, after 1000 miles, 2 weeks, it started knocking. Long story short, bore score and other issues... ended up with a bill of £11500, which was more than I paid for it. Thankfully, I managed to get my money back through consumer law. Think I was unlucky and also down to preference with opinion. My dad has a 981 Boxster GTS and still feels similar driving that. Ended up in a 996 4s convertible that I loved, enjoyed the vert so much I bought another Z4M, this time a roady.

Your MR looks like a good buy for someone, and it's the right time of year to sell a Roadster so GLWTS.

I hope you enjoy the Boxster. :driving:
