If you look at the eBay listing you will see it does clearly mention the left side damage. However I had copied and pasted the listing here from my eBay listing..... but because that part is in a seperate box on ebay it wasnt part of what I copied over. Sorry about that.

Mike the original and the new one both mention the left side damage in the 'condition section'.
 
Please could a mod remove this listing please....I appear to have offended a few people by joining to list the car, and not originally mentioning the left side damage.

In all seriousness before the whole post goes haywire any car has to be bought as seen , driven & inspected .
Most sellers in the main arenas like AT ,PH &Ebay wouldn't disclose every flaw & fault , you have to find them yourselves & unfortunately that sometimes mean's wasted journeys
At £10k if no real horrors uncovered there's plenty in the pot for a Ins2 & some cosmetic fettling so no need to roast the guy :wink:

Thank you for that...I do feel well and truely roasted.

I am trying to sell the car for a friend who's husband has become serious ill.....so I dont real want to be dealing with a load of hassle when I am just trying to sell a totally genuine vehicle owned by two very nice people.

If a mod could just delete this entire post it would be much appreciated for my sanity.

Don't take any offence David it's not intended by anyone. The problem you have is this is an enthusiasts forum rather than Autotrader and such members are very very wary of cheap cars, these people know the cars and market and are very switched on to finding any niggles. You feel like you've jumped into a vipers nest but just be honest, as I'm sure you are being, and you may well get a sale. It's a good thing you're doing helping your friend.

Yes, but it's not £10k now, is it?

And do we really believe that a trader would have walked away from it at £9500 if the damage to the left hand side was as minor as claimed?! Add that to the lack of service history and something just doesn't feel right.
 
Not sure about the level of honesty here. First advert says the car has service history. 2nd advert says it doesn't....

Is the spirit of the forum suggesting that someone trying to sell a vehicle for genuine reason is "dodgy". If so you would certainly tick that box.

As I have said I am happy to answer any questions about it... I have even sent a member who enquired a video walk round of the car.

if anyone interested in the car had questions please just ask... I'm happy to answer any here or in private.
