Well the time has come to sell my roadster, due to a recent purchase of a Z4M coupe.
In the ideal world, finances permitting then I would be keeping this car as I like it that much! I bought it in November 2012 off an RAF pilot, who had had it for around 18 months previously to me. He bought it from a garage, Autostrada in Bristol. The car has been superb. Most of the miles which I have put on it have been sat on A roads to and from work (60 mile commute) and steady cruises up and down the motorway as my friends and family are back up north. For this kind of driving, the N52 3.0 engine is great, so smooth and very efficient for what it is. Yet as desired, it steps up to be the perfect toy.
The important details:
-BMW Z4 3.0si Sport Roadster, 2006 (facelift)
-Silver Grey
-Oregon Pearl Grey leather
-59800 miles
-Full service history, dealer and BMW specialists
-MOT until jan 2015
-Taxed until June 31st 2014
-New rear tyres were fitted 2 months ago (Vreds)
-Front and rear discs and pads fitted Jan 2014
-Eibach Pro springs have been fitted purely from a reliability point of view, due to the common problems with original spring failures although it has improved the ride quality! One failed under RAC warranty and the other shortly afterwards, out of warranty.
-Always been run on shell V power, and when that hasn't been available (rare occasion) then Esso/BP equivalents etc. Used BMW washer fluid, shampoo, washed with snow foam and then two buckets every time.
The car also features amongst the usual comforts:
-piano black main dash-trim inserts
-heated seats
-electric seats
-rear parking sensors
-footwell lighting
-Aux-in
-auto dim mirror
-auto headlights and wipers
-Hill assist
The sport also comes with a few extras in the pack, including M sport steering wheel and seats which look stunning.
I'll also consider throwing in a non-OEM wind deflector (the perspex type) and an OEM roof cover.
The car is overall in great condition, and really does stand out. There are as to be expected a small number age related marks, the odd stone chip and some slight wear to the driver's bolster. The paint is generally very good, there is a tiny scuff on the nearside corner which was there when I bought the car. The alloys are in generally good condition with only one very small marking, they were refurbished in 2011 with receipts in excess of £400. I'm fussy.
This is a forum advert and ideally it would be great to see it stay within. However if you aren't quite so familiar with these cars, then this advert is probably missing some of the standard specifications which these cars come with so feel free to ask any questions. It will at some point be listed slightly differently if it goes out onto PH/ Autotrader.
The car is based near Newbury, Berkshire, ten minutes from the A34 and ten minutes from the M4. If you have any questions at all please ask, and I will also give you my mobile via private message.
Thanks for looking
Tom
