Excellent tip - thank you. My transmission oil syringe seals died and that makes a hell of a mess when you're not expecting it to let by!

Always used them from my kit car building days. Cheap and easy to strip and clean , for obvious ketchup reasons and buy a few for not a lot. I use one for dirty oil and one for clean. Sorry to interrupt, I called my local independent bm specialist in Colchester called Smoothtune and spoke with Mark who said the manual gearbox oil won’t need changing as BM use a lifetime oil?

Yeah that is what the sticker on the gearbox says, however it is marketing bulls**** so if a specialist is advising you not to change it, I would really be doubtful of taking my car there for further work...
