2005 Z4 E85 airbag light not lighting up

Hi Guys,

I just bought a 2005 Z4 E85. I am loving the car at the moment. I have an issue though, the air bag light on the cluster never lights up at all. I did the cluster test, and it doesnt light up in that too. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Might be worth taking the dash clocks out and strip them back to see if someone has taped over the light. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen that. It's quite a simple job. 1 screw, then unclip the plug, if memory serves.
 
Exactly that. Take the tape off then you only need to fix whichever module has failed.
Get the codes read and come back to us with what it says.
 
In fact, I would read the codes first. If it’s something that you aren’t able to fix then you may be better leaving the light covered
