Thought I'd chime in at this point...

I've gone and sprayed the front indicators completely black and also recently did the rear lights too. The car is transformed IMO. It's the only way to achieve a proper blackout look (without also doing the wheels too).

I will post pix when I feel like it. :)

Can't leave it like that - get them up!

I quite like the orange on the front too...

DannyBoy, will be looking forward, keep us posted. I saw one of them tinting sprays down the shop today but I was wondering if it chips and how do you remove it... Any ideas ? :)

Spray arrived today! Got some time off now till Monday so will attack it tomorrow (provided the weather is decent!).

@Blindle, thats a very odd statement to make, but dont worry about posting pics for everyone as I'll do it. :)

Jobs a gud un and all done. Changes the look of the car quite dramatically imo.

I'll post pics when I feel like it. :)

Right I feel like it now! :D

Honest opinions wanted please, I've even cleaned the car especially for Tom.......

Don't you start too

C'mon, get them up - I'm keen to see the difference because I too can't justify £XXX on new front lights...

Ah feck, just bet me

Hmmm, first thoughts are hmmmm....

They're quite dark, not sure if I like that too much or not.

I'm really not sure about that. It's difficult to know how it looks in the flesh. For me the contrast between the silver inner and black indicators is too extreme and on the silver paint it all stands out more. This would work better on a dark Zed with black light inners.

Remember though the rule is if you like it it's good

BTW - I'd fix that oil leak :poke:

I actually quite like them, think they emphasise the roof more and give the car a black and silver theme. Certainly makes the car appear more aggresive.

I gave them a couple of coats and they just made the orange look dirty TBH so though sod it and went for it! The lights flash amber so thats ok.

I quite like the look so will give it a go for a while. They are very easy to remove so we'll see but I do agree in that on a car with black inners they would not stand out so much.

Phil youre funny, thats water! Albeit I apprecaite the paths are in rather a bad state, problem being the Guest House car park is a fair old size to have them redone and youre talking the best part of £40k for block paving so its ok as is for now!

Err, do they still flash orange? Brightly?

Not keen myself, but nice to have something a bit different to the usual clear ones...

If that was 50% of that kinda darkness I'd probably be more interested :D

I knew it was water  . Mine does it every time after washing when you later move and park it up unless it's been driven.

I think they look great! Could we have a closeup pic of the head light please? :)

What spray have did you use? I agree about the link with the roof. Very impressed!

Thanx danny boy! I think its a great improvement :) I don't suppose you have a picture of the indicator flash do you? Just to compare it with normal :D
