2004 Z4. Lock actuator

First timer here guys.
Recently, the drivers door would not latch closed on my 04 Z4. I figured it was time for a new actuator. I replaced it this morning, but now the door will latch, but I cannot open the door from the outside. It opens and closes fine from the inside. Any thoughts to what might be wrong?
 
Might be the cable inside the door has stretched and not pulling enough when you operate the outside door handle.

That looks like the cable I had such a difficult time attaching to the new actuator. I'll have another look. One thing I did learn, if I turn the key in the unlock position and hold it there, the window will roll down giving me access. Cool feature.
