2004 Z4 3.0L Upgrades

Hello all just had my audio upgraded in my Z4. Replaced the standard speakers which were rubbish. Now have DAB, Ipod, FM, CD & CD Changer fitted. Will post a few pics in a bit. The front speakers are custom Hertz 3 ways with the woofers fitted in the kick panels, squawkers in the doors and tweeters in the original position. I have had 3 way Hertz ellipticals mounted behind the driver and passenger seats using the redundant cubby holes. The head unit is an Alpine IVA 511RB which I am really pleased with. Nearly forgot also an amp mounted behind the drivers seat. Sounds soooooooo much better now.

Anyway sorry got side tracked..... I have fitted an ultra racing three point strut brace, stainless braided brake pipes and poly bushed the bottom from wishbones. I intend to fit the lower strut brace in a bit. I am looking at an induction kit, but clearly don't want to be sucking warm air. Anyone know of a quality supplier which preferably is an easy install? next will be the exhaust!

Ben, for info this is an Ultra Racing strut brace. Not to difficult to install. Although you do need to modify the bonnet alarm switch bracket.

Neil, the audio install was done by Source Audio of Sheffield. Having come from the Volvo forums (new to Z4 ownership) I am mindful of advertising so hope moderators don't mind me mentioning the company name. Really pleased with the quality. I wanted depth of sound but not to be heard nine miles away with ott bin lid woofers etc. The 3 ways utilise the existing holes with some modification for the tweeters.

Are they the ones on ebay? White I believe?

You can get them from numerous sources now. I had a full set on my previous car. Improved handling substantially although it was on a Volvo S60. I am looking at several things to improve the ride. Poly bush rear trailing arms, upgrade springs and anti roll bars. The Ultra Racing stuff has taken off in the UK as there are a lot more importers. Still doesnt answer my induction issue!
