I've had the car for about 4 years and for the last 18 months the engine starts readily, runs for about 20-30 seconds and cuts out.
It starts again ok and run again for 20-30 seconds and cuts again. If you keep the revs at about 1500 it will just blip and carry on running.
Its a cut in the ignition because if I push the button for sport mode it will cancel that. Once the engine is up to temperature it runs fine with no problems. I've taken the car to a BMW main dealer and they put on there diagnostic kit, and found no fault. It must be temperature
related because when it gets up to running temp. its fine. Help.
