2004 roadster interior boot lighting.

Hi a silly question but after 5 years of ownership can someone confirm if the z4 2004 roadster has an interior boot light?. It never has lit up and I have never got round to looking. If it has and a simple bulb is needed brilliant. Thanks in advance. Jon
 
Can't comment on a 2004 Zed, but on my Facelift version it was on the RHS just behind the light cluster access
Not much use though :)
I fitted a LED strip for a couple of quid, difference was amazing
 
My 2003 has one, look up under the drivers side and you should see the light, could be the bulb has blown :thumbsup:
 
It's a pathetic light anyway, I replaced mine with an LED strip same as others have, much better. Simple cheap and effective mod.

I've also done this. Makes a huge difference. :thumbsup:
 
Following on from above guidance immediately found the light. Pulled out from the carpet and it came away into my hand. Looked at the bulb which looks very complicated as in a metal cage. Bulb looked fine so plugged into the bayonet prongs and hey presto light went on. :o . Being a cynic I now expect my battery to drain. Agree with the comments about the brightness but after 5 years of no light a great improvement.
 
It took you 5 years to notice? :tumbleweed:

If you're worried it was disconnected because it was staying on, put your phone in on video and check it goes out.
