I bought the car from Stratstone (Jaguar dealer) In Manchester in August 2013
For £7,252.00 since then Darren Wood BMW Specialist in Stockport have looked after the car and I have had the following work/ repairs and purchased the said items (all receipts documented in a folder)

• Full set of original BMW mats velour & rubber £ 120.00

• Set of 18” alloy wheels (P/x old wheels) £ 507.00

• Drivers Door Membrane £ 24.43

• Roll over Bar Trim replacement
• Roof Pillar hinges
• Roof Hydraulic Kit (left)
• Roof Hydraulic Kit (right) £1,199.35

• Passenger Door Window Regulator & membrane £ 249.31

• New alternator £ 379.14

• New third brake light £ 89.90

• Front Wishbone Bushes
• OSR Coil Spring
• Passenger seat occupancy mat £ 722.06


As you can see from the list of repairs and the amount I have spent on the car I never intended to sell it and it has been loved and cherished, the reason for the sale is being a drummer I have to constantly find alternative transport when I am gigging! – Also I am in the process of moving house and simply can’t afford to keep this and buy something else more practical.

I will be sorry to see the car go and am desperate for it to go to a good home I cannot bear the thought of it being P/x and sent to the gallows !!

Before I advertise the car on Auto Trader or go down the P/x route I am posting the car on here based on the valuations you guys have helped me with and to a Forum member I offer the car for sale at

That's a lovely looking and cared for car with low miles too. If that had been a 3.0 I'd have been all over it.

Don't rule out a 2.5 till you have tried it! Still a powerful car especially in prefaced guise as they had 192bhp. That is a seriously well cared for car and a great buy.

Hmm maybe you're right. You can't argue with mileage, history and condition
 
I'd happily buy a low mileage well cared for, well spec'ed 2.5 in that colour .............

hang on I did six years ago and still love it 8)
 
Looks excellent value,and the best bit you will be buying a z that has been well cared for ,not a dog that needs money throwing at it.Good luck with the sale

Firstly thanks for all your great comments ! I am pleased to announce that my z has been sold !

Thankfully to an acquaintance of a forum member so she will be going to a good home and hopefully staying on the forum - whilst incredibly sad to be losing her I am excited for her new owner who I am sure will get much pleasure form owning and driving her.

You are not rid of me yet I will still be checking in occasionally and will one day return complete with another Z -
however for the time being adios guys thanks for all your help and advice -

Going by your description and pics I knew it wouldn't take long at all to sell.
 
My mate has bought the Z. He is a petrol head, having owned a MX5, S2k, Boxtsters, 944's and thats just the sports cars. I think he has bought a very good example of a Z.
