My extensively restored 3.0i SMG has to go after nearly 14 years of ownership. Car has a great service history with 11 stamps in the service booklet 10 of which are main dealer. Last serviced Apr 24, next service due Apr 26, MOT until Aug 26. 117,000 recorded miles. Everything in good working order.
During my tenure I have had the SMG system completely refurbished. A new clutch flywheel and prop shaft was fitted by Cotswold BMW Cheltenham this summer as well as an SMG pump as preventative maintenance whilst the gearbox was out.
To get it up to concours standard I have had most panels repainted by a BMW main dealer as well as a new front bumper and headlights. A new windscreen (genuine BMW) has also been fitted.
Preventative maintenance work includes new suspension, brakes, radiators, water pump, header tank, DISA valve, starter motor and CCV system. Valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket have been repaired. Only genuine BMW parts fitted. Interior has been cosmeticatly restore with new BMW parts, doorhandles steering wheel spokes etc. Leather seats are in fabulous condition.
The car has picked up four trophies at recent BMW CC GB concours events. Over £30,000 spent with all receipts available.
