2004 E85 3.0i SE in Titan Silver / Black Leather 62K

 Droitwich Spa. WORCS.
I bought my Z4 in 2017 and have added less than 8000 miles since then, averaging 110 miles per year for the last 3 years.
It runs and drives beautifully on MSport suspension with 107 Ellipsoid wheels in Ferric Grey and new Pirelli PZero NRF’s. A ZHP gear knob and CDV delete means gearshifts are precise and a recently refurbished steering column means it goes exactly where it should. The roof motor has been relocated (by Ducklakeview), so works every time, but the sale includes a Titan silver hard top.

Other features include:
Zenon headlights
Headlamp wash/wipe
Clear side / brake lights
Rear parking sensors
Black leather upholstery
Auto wipers with rain sensor
BMW Business Radio with single CD
Electric Front seats with Driver Memory
Clear rear centre brake light and side repeaters
2 keys and lots of history, last serviced in 2023 / 62,000 miles
Stubby aerial.

Overall, it’s a lovely little car, with a decent service history but it could do with some tlc in terms of:
Slight damage to the nearside front wing, caused when getting it out of the garage
Slight kerb damage to 1 wheel and 2x are marked around the valve.
Multi-change CD system has never worked
Small chip on the edge of the glass on the hard top

£5k will secure the car, and I’ll get the wheels and front wing repaired. If the buyer is prepared to do this themselves, I’ll accept £4,500. It’s currently on a private plate, but I’ll re-register it to the original CA54 plate on sale. Location: Worcestershire.

UPDATE - May ‘25. I have decided not to sell my car, but to get the work done and run keep it for (at least) another year. I don’t know how to remove the advert, and so have marked it as sold. If anyone knows hot to remove it, your advice would be appreciated.

That looks like a great low-mileage car with M-Sport seats and Xenons at a sensible price, although you might get more overall selling the hard-top separately as they seem to go for £1,000 or so.

When you advertise it include details of servicing, date, mileage, work done and where and include where the car is - GLWTS.

Sorry to hear you are selling your Z4. Not a great time for it with the days getting shorter and the market generally on its knees.

£5k for a 3.0i manual on 63k doesn’t seem like a massive ask, particularly with hard top included. If it has a good service history and M-sport seats, so much the better.

You may be better off getting the damage rectified as tatty looking cars can be hard to sell.

A decent set of photos (inside, outside, engine bay) and the service history will answer most people’s questions. And don’t confine your sales effort to this forum, as there are a limited number of ready buyers on it.

Not sure it has M sport seats but does have sports suspension.

Hard top can be really useful for some.

We can help refine when we see the photos but perhaps advertise for £5000 and be prepared to accept £4500?

Hi Tony,

To be brutally honest, I can’t make up my mind. With the weather so fine, I’m tempted to keep it, but I really don’t get proper use of it, so the sensible thing is to sell.I haven’t got around to repairing the scratch or wheels, and life is so busy, I’m not sure when I’ll be able to…

I’m in Worcestershire, so it’s quite a trek for you, but if you’re interested, please feel free to come and have a look…

Hi - not sure if this is still for sale or not, if it is I'd not really want the hardtop (nowhere to store when not in use). Can you sell that separately?

Hi. Sorry for the ridiculous delay in responding. I’ve been in hospital and am now at home under strict instruction to rest.
Thanks for your interest, but I’ve decided not to sell the car. I’m going to get the work done and enjoy it another year (at least)
