No, it has a HID kit, has had it for a number of years and no issues with MOT’s as you can see if you have a look at the mot history.

Most people on here will tell you that factory Xenons are rubbish on the E85/86... this is better

The Xenons on my E85 (2003) are superb, bright and mega powerful, on par with modern daily drivers imo.
Maybe I'm lucky.

The ones on mine are crap, especially when compared to more modern stuff and they're the later facelift units (not that I think that makes any real difference)

No, sadly, I can’t really justify the additional costs for what is just a fair-weather weekend toy, ...unless a bargain pops up!

I really want a Monaco Blue or Pheonix Yellow E85.

My Mrs thinks I’m a bit nuts as she really likes this one and thinks I should just keep it

So, the car has been collected this evening and I’m a bit sad and hope I haven’t made a mistake.

In the interest of honesty, I did agree to accept £100 less than my ‘firm’ price, because... typically, the front Passenger side top mount has developed a creak (probably just lack of use to be fair as the noise goes away when the car is warmed up) and the rear tires were lower than I remember.

To be fair, I’m happy and the buyer seems happy too.

This feels like a fair price in the current market for such a clean, well loved car.
