I bought this from the forum on a bit of whim to enjoy with my young daughter whilst the weather is good. I've had my fun and would rather sell it on now then in the depths of winter.

Since buying the car I've had the roof and passenger side window fixed. I took a drive up to DLV in manchester. He has refurbished the motor and relocated it to the boot. He also installed the new window regulator. The roof has also been coded to operate from the key.

I have also added an aux input to the standard headunit and integrated a small bluetooth carkit. This also streams music from your phone etc. It's discreet and I have hidden all the wiring out of site.

The previous seller was honest in his advert. The car is mechanically great and it drives well. The autobox is smooth and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick this little car is.

What lets the car down is the bodywork. It has had a poor repair on the drivers side and the paintwork is flat. There are also various scratches and parking dints around the car. Its not mint but it looks presentable and is a perfectly usable cheap z4.

You haven't actually stated a price to say if its overpriced or not? Are you selling for the same as the previous ad?

As much as you've linked to the old ad, i don't think that's doing you any favours, few reasons:

- Your ad has a lot of text that doesn't say very much, all the crucial information (miles/service/PICS!) are in the old ad, it makes it a bit of a hassle fishing around for info.
- The lack of pics is never going to help, most people will quickly look at the pics to see if its the kind of car they are after before they read any text.
- Likewise, price and mileage are also the things people want to quickly see as it doesnt matter what the car has unless its the price they are looking for and the mileage they want.
- Finally, I would suggest you're going to have BIG questions around why you are selling the car so quickly. Even as a car for some fun for the summer, it looks like you've had it less than a month - I'm not sure in the 1000 miles or so you may have done you could have actually had that much fun yet to grow out of it? As much as your reasons for selling now rather than the winter may be valid, I think its going to have alarm bells for many who think you may have found some issues and getting rid quickly before it costs anymore.

On the other hand, it does have an MOT, its cheap (if your selling for a similar price) so it will sell, i just think point 4 may be a sticking point for some people along the way.
 
Hi thanks for the feedback.

The price is in the advert below the videos. It has been there from the start. I wanted to advertise the car here first before I put it on autotrader etc. This is because it has been on here for sale already and someone may have missed out on buying it.

Your 4th point is what I thought may put potential buyers off but this is a genuine sale and I have nothing to hide about the car.

I will update the add when I am back in the country.
 
Sorry didnt see that, although its position isnt going to do you any favours, pics/videos normally come last , anything below them and people wont see it.
