Just bought 2003 Z4 2.5i. Needs a lot of work. Roof motor, new alloys, paintwork to start. Need to get it on a ramp to see what condition underneath is in. Wish me luck :D
 
Thanks Jabber. Might post some before and after pics when I get some of the work done. Don't think I've seen alloys so flaky before!

The teaser photos confirm plenty of work there alone with wheel refurb and new set of disks and pads and clean up iof the calipers
 
Yep. I think it's going to take a while. Not entirely sure the alloys are salvageable. Looking for something to replace them with.
 
Hi and welcome OP.

Those 108s of yours are in a sorry state! People have split them and had them refurbed, but I've read stories of bolts shearing so it's probably only for the brave! You could always buy some others, as with time they'll get like that again. :(

Roof motor wise ducklakeview is based in Merseyside, so depending whereabouts you are there are others that sort and relocate roof motors who may be nearer.

Motor relocate is £80 to forum members, and an additional £20 if the motor is dead, to strip and repair it.

That's only for Ebay :) Forum members pay £80 for the relocate and £20 if it is dead and needs stripping :)

Wow. Thanks, that's a fantastic price! I'm in London and have a friend who has done his one, so we're going to try and revive it. If not I may very well head up to you Mike :D
