2003 Z4 Roadster 2.5 - *sold*

Hey,

So I bought this Z4 off a forum member earlier this year knowing I'd need to sell it when I move house. Well, now is the time... :(

Located in the Newcastle area

Sterling Grey with Black Leather

Factory fitted xenons

18" Wheels with 4 good tyres - Perfect other than a scuff on one wheel (see pic)

Full MOT (Aug 22nd) - There was no requirement for work to be done, or advisories. Old MOTs dating back to 2007 are in the file.

Full and comprehensive use-based service history with 10 stamps and stacks of receipts.

Inspection 1 @ 25k
Oil service @ 29k

Inspection 2 @ 91k
Oil service @ 101k
Inspection 1 @ 111k
Oil service @ 124k (August 22nd) - The next is showing as due in 15k miles.

Hood is in great condition.

Seat bolsters show minimal signs of wear - Not what you'd expect for the mileage

124k and a bit on the clock - I do a lot of motorway miles. So realistically, this'll be a low 125k car by mid September.

Runs absolutely great. No tram lining and feels solid.

Dodgy bits:

The powered roof works. However, I think there's an issue with the polarity on the motor in the boot. To retract, down means up, and vice versa. This gets a little awkward when you need to lock it in place when closing - However, I have the knack, so it goes in fine.

Passenger door intermittently opens from the fob, so you often need to open the passenger door from the inside. It ALWAYS locks, which is the most important bit!

Otherwise all electrics work perfectly

There's the usual stone chips - Nothing that stands out however.

Only 1 key...

The last two owners were forum members, hopefully they also enjoyed trouble free driving. My only issue has been to replace an ABS sensor, otherwise, I couldn't have asked for a more reliable car. I've now covered 14k since March!

Cheers
Chris

Still looks well Chris , glad you've enjoyed the car mate , 14k since March :driving: great going
You are actually the 4th forum owner , it was originally "slick" then "Marvin" bought from him
The rim scuff would touch up with some matt/satin paint

Thanks mate, it's been nothing but superb. It's such a shame to sell it - My daughter is gutted!

I managed to do around 200 miles in the first 2 Months, then I handed back my company car... :driving:

For all those Z owners who have experienced issues with tramlining, handling , twitchy steering & complained about notchy gear changes this car is a great example of how they should be
Definitely belies its age & miles

Thats still a lot of car for the £4k mark. Even if its just put away for Sundays and tinkering, its a lot of smiles for a small outlay.

Rarely have I seen a tidy & running Zed go for less than £3k/£3.5k so cars like this really have nowhere for the value to fall.

GLWTS.

Thanks mate, here's hoping!

I hope that you are prepared to shortly be an ex Zed owner. Looks very nice and a huge amount of car at £4k. :)

GLWTS!

if i had the spare cash knocking around, Id have that off you at the right price.

A nice little Autumn evening project to sort out all of those minor gremlins and give a good polish whilst the wife watches X Factor and Strictly for the next 3 months !

It was very local to me when Mr Wilks bought it. Had I had the space I most definitely would have bought it.

Already done that for the September School fees !

This car has to be worth buying for those neat little 'push' handles on the boot lip. Great for bump starting it !

Lol- I wondered what they were at first- that's a serious polish to reflect the roll hoops like that!!

Haha, good light I think - I'd run out of the good gear, so used Wilko's finest that day!

So, I bought myself an old Volvo shed (the missus is Scandinavian, so it's OK apparently....).

Price reduced for quick(er) sale.

Will somebody please buy this car. ?
Preferably before I complete the sale of a rental property and my hand starts subconciously creeping into my pocket to saddle me with a winter evening project !
