2003 Z4 E85 3.0i manual - 64k miles -New MOT

Why are MOTs so stressful!

After a long day of phones to and from the garage the car now has a 12 month ticket on her!

Who knew we lived in a world where upgrading your headlights so you can see clearer at night and being safer, is actually a MOT failure!

So, after two new bulbs it’s done.

Plus, a new fuel filter cap, and cleaning of wiper motor!

I asked about the strut being damaged and I was told ‘it’s got a small dent so needs to be on there’….

Anyways, hopefully a sale will follow

Sounds like a jobsworth frightened of their own shadow
But hopefully a new ticket will get her sold before winter

Perhaps put her in Autotrader on one of these long-term adverts. Mention that for long-distance buyers you can pick them up from the station. Two of my cars were sold to people in Scotland looking for a rust-free car.

Wow, I've seen WW2 aircraft recovered from the English Channel will less rust :surrender:

I do have her on autotrader and I can safely say there isn’t a bit of rust on her 😊

I’ve done the wiper motor easy fix thanks to the instructions on this site just for peace of mind, wipers are working as they should (as they did before 🤣)

While doing some routine maintenance I thought I would check the rear springs and make sure the roof drainage is working, you can see springs are good and the roof drainage is working, again showing how good the car is if anyone is in the market or knows or someone wanting a tidy example.

So I’m offering this at £5300 now on here in the hope someone will want to buy or perhaps could recommend to a friend?

I’ve got the opportunity for a new project that I would like to take but if I have to put this away for winter and sell in the spring for more I’ll do it.

Hopefully someone will take her or know of someone that would be interested, at £5300 I think it’s a great price.
