2003 Z4 E85 3.0 SMG Black - Please Read Description - £1000

Hello,

With a heavy heart i am selling my BMW Z4 E85 3.0 SMG, i bought the car in 2016 with a view of having a project and something to work on and this has certainly been that. Unfortunately, i no longer have the time/requirement to continuing working on this and have decided to sell.

At the moment the car is not running due to a failure with the SMG hydraulic motor. This was replaced in 2018 using the OEM part from (https://www.smgsociety.com/product/pump-motor-6-speed-smg/) which was around £200. They also provide the DIY guide for the replacement. Due to the SMG failure, the car is stuck in PARK and cannot be towed. It will need to be collected by a low loader and slips

Additionally i have lost the key and the drivers side key barrel has broken. I have the master key for new keys to be cut from BMW but would suggest new barrels required and new keys programming

Interior of the car is in good condition, and there is some cosmetic issues for the exterior. The front bumper clips need replacing on each side and there is marks/scratches across the paintwork in line with the age of the vehicle. Alloy wheels are in need of some attention but have no cracks

The following work has been completed under my ownership:

New brakes and pads completed in February 2022 before MOT
Brake fluid lines replaced
roof motor relocated to boot
machine monkey tips
Suspension and shocks replaced in August 2019
alloys replaced with 108 split rims







I've been offered an amount from a scrap company, but would really like to see this back on the road in a forum members hands. I think with a little investment and TLC this could be a great runner for someone
