Hi
Sadly time, after nearly 3 years, to move my Zed on.
I bought this from Big Andra in 2022 after searching for my 2nd Zed. It had clearly been a labour of love for Andy and he’d done loads of work to it, most of which is documented here on the forum. Andy added approx 4k miles to it, and I’ve done the same as it is a second car.
It has 11 stamps in the service book to 2022, plus another service in my ownership which I have the receipt for but not a stamp in the book (can be arranged).
Things done in Andy’s ownership between 2018 and 2022…..
New expansion tank with coolant flush
Gearbox & diff oil changed Feb 2022
New rocker gasket
New belts
Disa valve upgraded 8xr kit
6 x New bosch coil packs
Bilstein shocks with eibach Pro springs
Lemforder top mounts
New drop links all round
Febi front wishbones
Poly bushes in front arb, lollypop & rear trailing arms
New brake discs & pads all round
4 x New brake calipers
Braided brake hoses
Brake fluid change
New roof motor (motor moved into boot)
Gaptech roof module
CDV delete
OEM wind deflector with boot brackets
Red electric memory heated M sport seats
Cruise control
Cup holders
Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth
OEM car mats
Led interior lights
Led number plate lights
Maxton design front side skirts
Rear aero spoiler
Custom stainless back box by Simon's custom exhausts in East Kilbride
4 wheel alignment.
In addition to this I had a new clutch fitted in 2023, along with a full service in 2024. I had the wheel recovered by Royals with M stitching to match the gearshift and handbrake gaiter, as well as a Stormwerks weighted gear knob.
The car is currently on genuine BBS style 313 alloys with all good tyres with 4mm + tread. The diamond cut on the alloys has reacted to some cleaning solution, so will need refurbing at some point. They are OK, but if you want perfection they need work. To be honest, if I kept it, I would stick 224s or CSLs on it, but that’s personal preference.
The roof is in great condition and has been treated with fabsil gold.
Car is mot'd until March 2026.
Someone has unfortunately dinged the passenger front wing, for which I’ve been quoted £380 to repair by a local company. Happy to complete this before sale for full price, or reflect in the sale price.
It’s a great Zed, with a lot of love lavished on it by Andy, and I’ve tried to do the same in my limited use of the car.
Located in Stoke on Trent area (but I had it shipped from Scotland so there’s always options!!!)
Any questions, feel free to ask!!
Paul
