Up for sale is my manual 2003 Z4 3.0i. Its in great condition, has full service history and only 39,500 miles on the clock. The private plate is included in the sale price of the car.
The pictures included are from last autumn. Since then the wheels have been swapped for some ellipsoid 18 inch ones. They were bought from BM Auto Sport at a cost of £950 at the end of last year and have covered less than 2000 miles since. They are immaculate, without a single blemish. The tyres are Continentals all round and have around 6mm on the front and 5mm of tread on the rear, so plenty of life left. They are non run flats and as such make the ride a lot better than stock. I will include two cans of tyre inflation foam, should the tyres ever suffer a puncture. I will get some more recent photos up at the weekend, which will include the new wheels.
The front brakes and pads are in great condition, and the rear discs and pads were changed last October and so are almost new. The car was last serviced in October 2011, at which point the coolant was renewed, and the brake fluid flushed and renewed. The next service isn’t due for another 13000 miles according to the onboard computer.
It has only had two owners before me. The original sales invoice for the car is included, and states the original purchase price was £34,015. Also on the invoice is the list of extras, these include:
-Top spec Carver stereo with DSP and inbuilt subwoofers. Sounds fantastic and crystal clear, even at high volume.
-Heated seats.
-Electronic seats with memory.
-Xenon lights.
-Automatic windscreen wipers and lights.
-Electric folding mirrors.
-6 CD changer.
These are in addition to the usual SE spec of 6-speed gearbox, power steering, electric windows, air conditioning, climate control, full leather, Sport button etc etc. I've added a second first aid box cubby under the driver’s seat for more storage too. The first aid kit under the passenger’s seat is unused.
The car has been looked after fantastically well. The only problems that these cars suffer from have all been taken care of. The hood motor was replaced (with the better sealed version) in 2010, the rear coil springs were done in 2009, when the window regulators were also done. The service stamps show it has been serviced: 10/06 at 7200miles, 8/07 at 15000 miles, 6/09 at 22500 miles, 10/10 at 31000 miles and 10/11 at 37000 miles.
The MOT still has 8 months remaining (due in August of 2012) and it is taxed until the end of November 2012.
The only bad points of the car are that there are a couple of very minor car park dings, a small scuff on the front bumper (only a couple of inches long) and a very light dent under the driver’s side wing mirror. These are very difficult to pick up on camera though, and are so minor as to not really bother me.
