I am selling my 3.0 Litre which I have owned for 3 years due to the recent purchase of a Z4M.

The car has been well cared for and is in very good condition with the odd scuff and scratch typical of an 18 year old car. The car is complete with a combination of main dealer and independent service history.

I have undertaken a fair amount of maintenance in my ownership to sort some of the more common Z4 issues.
Aside from regular servicing, I have had the following work undertaken.

1. Roof motor relocated to the boot by RBM Hampshire. Ross mentioned the motor had never seen water.
2. EPS module was repaired by ecutesting/RBM when the power steering failed with a lifetime warranty on the module.
3. Oil filter housing gasket replaced by RBM
4. New genuine BMW passenger window regulator replaced by RBM
5. All four wheels refurbished with nearly new Goodyear F1 tyres all round.
6. New rear suplex springs both sides
7. Rocker cover gasket replaced
8. Control arm bushings replaced by RBM with lemforder.

During my ownership until I purchased the Z4M, the car has been garaged. I have only ever used the car as a weekend car in the summer months.

The car is completely standard and unmodified. The engine pulls strongly with no untoward noises or warning lights on the dash. Private plate included.

I hope the next owner will enjoy the car as much as I have. I’m listing it solely on the forum first before placing it on Autotrader etc. Please get in touch if genuinely interested.

Bump for the weekend.

Not many comments on my for sale ad. I welcome opinions on the ad and pricing. I know its probably getting to the wrong time of year to sale.

I wish you good luck with your sale. Not too sure why there have been no comments tbh? Looks like it would be a great buy for someone.
I don't see anything wrong with the price and the photos present it well.
As you say, in the spring you may have found yourself inundated with enquiries.
I did look when you first posted. Had it been an auto I would have seriously considered it for my wife in place of her similar 2.5i.

Hi Mark
I’m also surprised you haven’t had more interest. I think it looks a great buy and was seriously interested as you know. If we hadn’t found another that was more conveniently located, lower miles, and our first choice colour combination, we probably would have pursued it.
Sorry!

Looks a peach. 107s are the best wheels on a roadster, particularly a grey one, IMO.

Good luck, I hope you find a buyer soon.

Seems the right price to me for the spec, colour, decent tyres etc.

My only thought is that the old 'odd scuff and scratch' (or 'age related marks' etc) put me off adverts without photos - sounds like the seller is hiding something and they want the buyer to turn up to view a car that's got deep scratches/badly scuffed wheels/cannon ball sized dents .

If they are just the mild age related marks then they don't warrant photos - or mentioning. People that aren't idiots will respect that and if it's some obscenely tidy garage queen then any seller will point that out. But that's just my view on what I look out for.

(Oh, and the car sat on chocks isn't great look :) Maybe some better, more glamorous pics would help.)

Some fair points there Bear

I agree the chocks don’t look great and maybe I should have worded the description regarding the marks differently.

I definitely wasn’t trying to hide anything and the car was in very good condition and drove faultlessly.

I was pleased to sell her today despite the awful weather via autotrader.

The price was negotiated a little but both myself and the buyer are happy with the deal.

I’ve just got my Z4M to look after now

Great news and sorry if it sounded like I was accusing you of anything, I totally wasn't, just thoughts as to why it may be sticking.

Anyhow, it's unstuck now!
