Weird electrical issues started happening last week with my 2003 Z4.
I have checked fuses behind the glove box, and battery and alternator were tested and are good. Amp to radio does turn on and I can feel it get warm after being on.
Here are the symptoms:
1.) Radio display turns on, changes channels, etc. but no sound.
2.) Turn signals work, but dash indicator lights do not.
3.) A/C will not blow cold, only warm
4.) Sometimes, after I remove the key from the ignition, the "key in ignition" warning beep will not stop, even after closing the door.
5.) Remote locking will not work while the warning beep is going off
6.) Airbag light is constantly lit on dash.

All this happened last Monday. Got in the car to go to work and noticed all the problems. Anyone have any feedback on where to go from here? I have checked fuses behind the glove box, and battery and alternator were tested and are good. Amp to radio does turn on and I can feel it get warm after being on.
Thanks in advance guys this is driving me nuts

My o3 has the exact same problem.I believe it to be a problem with the airbag module.I disconnected the console airbag module and now only have the airbag light problem and those other items came back to life.At the rear of the center console is a cubby which pulls out to access the airbag module plugs.

So I do not have to remove the entire console? Just the small cubby behind the brake lever? or Do I need to remove the storage area on the back wall?

Did you try disconnecting your a/b module? It seems mine has internal problems causing problems with other modules connected to the kbus

Had a similar problem on my last Z4 that was caused by the airbag module. its high up in the middle sort of over the drivers left shoulder and is not easy to get at. Despite showing a fault and advice to the contrary I was able to get it re programmed in situ via the OBD port.
