2003 e85 with a m54 getting no throttle response at throttle body???
history, car has 94k on it, was running good then developed a high rev (up 500rpms) when i stepped on the brake. troubleshot and found it was a vacuum leak in the brake booster. Disconnected the battery, replaced the booster and started to bleed it out. Decided to move the car to a better spot for bleeding the brakes and noticed that the throttle no longer responded to the peddle inputs. hook up my bluetooth obdII code reader / trouble shooting tester and saw the pedal is working and goes from 0-100 %. Decided to check the TBI- had nothing. checked under the dash and around the pedal to make sure i didn't knock a connector apart it unplug something but everything looked good. Swapped out the tbi with a new one and same issue. still no response.
side note did notice the brake lights are always on but we never finished bleeding. they were working before.

any ideas would be great. already checked in the engine compartment for wires/ connectors/ and hoses off. same nothing out of place,

would love to have a local shop look at it but they all want me to bring it to them- cant drive it so that's a problem.

ANY IDEAS???

That sounds like maybe the car isn’t letting the throttle work as it thinks there is another problem. Possibly something like a traction control input due to the brakes issue??

When I was testing my maf by disconnecting it, I noticed revs increasing when I touched brake pedal.never got to the bottom of it but might you have disconnected or damaged maf connector.

checked again today MAF is connected. yeah i was thinking it could be a safety tied to the brakes but dont know where to start looking
