For sale: 2003 Sterling Grey E85 Z4 3.0i SE. (Reg: RY03AEA)

Just under 71k miles. I have spotted another car I am interested in, so am putting this up in hope of a quick sale, otherwise I'll take some decent photos and re-advertise in spring. (EDIT: There are a couple of photo's from one of my previous posts when I bought the car. It still looks just the same!) Sorry, I know it is a sin - but I have no photos for now, as it is tucked up under a cover in the garage, though I can send some photos of it in the garage for those interested, and will be sure to take some the next time it comes out).

Excellent condition, electric memory heated seats (black leather), cruise control, parking sensors, 4 previous owners. I've owned it 2 years, and when I bought it I took it to the ZedShed for a Vanos refurb, new DISA and Roof Motor re-location (all preventative). While doing the Vanos, Mike told me the engine had some of the cleanest internals he had ever seen. I planned to use it for the summer (it was a '4th car') then sell it, but I really liked it so sold one of my others instead and kept it an extra year (although it has has very little use this year).

The 2 previous owners pampered it, and judging by the condition and the mileage shown on the MOTs, so did those before.

I planned to move to non Runflats, so it comes with a new spacesaver, a jack and wrench in a bag in the boot. It has 2 new Pirelli PZero's on the rear, but needs 2 new fronts (tread depth is legal). I had to replace the rears due to a puncture, and they had no fronts available. I have not used the car since, so it still has the Runflats up front.

Services:
12k (09/04) North Oxford BMW
27k (01/06) North Oxford BMW
42k (03/07) North Oxford BMW
50k (04/09) North Oxford BMW
56k (04/16) Mercedes Benz Aylesbury
60k (03/18) Dick Lovett BMW

The service indicator currently states 4800 miles until the service is due. I bought oil and filters to do an interim oil change during lock down, but did not get round to it, so it will come with the oil and filters I bought.

It has a Parrot phone kit, and a Bluetooth Audio module in place of the CD Changer. (The CD changer was working until I disconnected it to connect the Bluetooth, but this could easily be swapped back).

When I was using the car more, after driving in rain I regularly checked for damp, and never found any.

It is on the original 108 wheels, which are very good, but not perfect. It has 2 keys and the book pack, plus some receipts etc.

The car is located between Oxford and Swindon.

5K is a bit optimistic for a 2003 car at this time of the year IMO. If you are serious about selling you really need to get some photos up on here.
You'd maybe stand a better chance of getting near your asking price when the spring comes but I have seen fine examples with about the same mileage and year going for sub 4k. :|

Hi, I am a newbie on here looking for a 3.0. I am interested in your car if the price was closer to what was suggested above? I don't live a million miles away although under the current circumstances things are more difficult! Let me know your thoughts, regards Rob.
