2003 BMW Z4 3.0i BlueTooth Radio?

I have a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i and my current radio is a stock radio. I am wondering if there is a possible replacement radio that connects to Bluetooth that I can replace in the car without ruining the current look of the car. Is there a newer model of Z4 Stock Radio that can fit into my current 2003 model? Something with a bit of an update. Just so I can play music from a BlueTooth device.

There are a selection of aftermarket bluetooth devices that can very easily be installed to the stock radio if you want to preserve the looks and just add bluetooth. Normally there is a wiring connector that plugs in to the back of the radio unit. You can buy a small unit which is installed by plugging the car wiring into its socket and then it has a new connector that plugs into the radio, job done.
For example

Once installed you just connect to the bluetooth device, switch the head unit to AUX input and away you go

Yep, what Gebbly said!

I went with the Amazon Echo Auto. Wired it into a switched live on the fusebox and it sits attached to the back of the removeable panel below the heater controls (velcro). Automatically recognises and connects to my phone, just have the radio set to AUX input and it auto plays what I was last listening to.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, its great for calls too as it will use bluetooth and has a good microphone array built in that gets rid of a lot of the road noise of the old Z4s!

I was thinking more along these lines
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276535040352?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-153316-527457-8&mkcid=2&itemid=276535040352&targetid=4585513251572428&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=&poi=&campaignid=431353846&mkgroupid=1310618283030814&rlsatarget=pla-4585513251572428&abcId=9301942&merchantid=87779&msclkid=b2cacde325481c230b67aaa7722923c3

Which dont need to be plugged in to the fusebox. They just sit in between the car wiring and the radio and get their power from the same cables as the radio does so no messing with the fuse box.

You can also get a bluetooth adapter which plugs in to existing cables under the floor mat in the boot. Works a treat

Ooh, I've not seen those before. Do you have any links [ref]jock156[/ref]?

As you can see [ref]charleswhsu[/ref], there are a bunch of options available to you that allows you to just add bluetooth to your existing head unit :)

I had Jingle fit mine so no idea what mine was  It was about £25 off EBay and it took him about 2 minutes to fit. Out of sight, no dangling cables and as I said works a treat

I’ll message him and ask him.

Then I’ll reply to you

Thanks everyone for your input. I like these ideas. I might reach out again once I install it and tell you all how it went. I just purchased an adapter on Amazon. If it doesn't work it's not too expensive.
