At the start of the year I bought a 2003 '53 plate BMW Z4 but due to purchasing a newly new BMW RT motorbike, the car is simply not going to get used.
Silver body work with no marks or scratches worth mentioning and the only defect is both headlight washer caps missing, a well documented fault with these cars. Rear parking sensors, all working correctly and Zenon lights.
Good condition Ellipsoid 18" alloys with brand new, matching Continetal ContiSport tyres fitted a month ago removing the awful run flats. These tyres would cost you a fortune to buy and they haven't covered more an a few hundred miles.
The fabric roof is in perfect condition, the car came with a hardtop and it looks like the fabric has spent a lot of its life hidden from the poor weather. Electric operation working perfect.
Interior is in good condition with black electric seats and is all original and working.
Engine is prefect, smooth, quiet and delivers the silky smooth experience you would expect from a 6 cylinder BMW. When I bought the car I took off the DISA valve and retro fitted the upgrade kit, so that's one of the Z4 major faults rectified.
Clutch is strong, with no judder and the gearbox still has that rifle bolt action.
The car is in use everyday and as such is taxed and MOT'd with 86k miles and loads of history.
The only downside to the car is a Cat C marker but please don't let this put you off, I looked at loads of these Z4's prior to buying this one and I can assure you it drives like new and there is no signs if any form of damage. The car was previously owned by a classic car restorer who bought it for his son to use, so that shows how good it is. I even have a friend who has bought an M135i and when he drove the Z4 couldn't believe how good it was.
Priced for a sale, bearing in mind the Cat C but taking into consideration the condition, 4 new Conti tyres and DISA.
£3500 without the hardtop
£4200 complete with silver hardtop including storage bag.
