2003 3.0 in Lincs, new guy.

Hello all,

thought I'd finally check in after lurking and learning on here for a while.

I've upgraded from a Z3 to and E85 3.0 in grey, auto and am loving it so far. Have only put a stubby on it as yet, but it needs the wiper position sorting and some decent tyres plus a 4 wheel alignment for starters.

During my time lurking I have been impressed by the depth of knowledge and advice on this forum and I also think the layout is great, it's a credit to you all.

I live in north east Lincs and try to own BMW when funds allow, looking forward to the next summer season and some spirited driving al fresco. Might well bump into a few of you next year if all the planets line up.

Thank you so far and I will now try and post a few pictures of Scully.

Best regards,

Lux Retro.

Nice, like the grey leather. Looks great with those wheels.

Strange, but my passenger wiper sits exactly the same as yours.

Miles?

The car has done 69k.
We are in Woodhall quite a bit in summer as we have friends in Bucknall.
Will give you as much notice as I can
Got to love a BMW with a straight six.

Yes, welcome to the forum OP.

That grey roof looks so much better than black, and really suits the colour of your car.

I've not seen 2-tone seats like those either - different, in a good way!

Hope you have some time off to enjoy it!

Looks like a nice clean car, inside and out. Rare softop colour combo as well. Make sure you get some car mats in there!

I was thinking the same? I guess it could be a trick of the light as srhutch has pointed out. Although it's very much in keeping with the grey theme!
