Had my car 1 month now after selling my R32 (Mk4), really pleased with it and surprised how easy it is to work on, have conducted the below modifications/maintenance with the direction of this great forum, so much info and help on the way forward with my car. Fitted gaptech today, what a simple and great piece of kit. Hope you like the pics, the only other mods I am planning is spacers front/rear and 19” CSL alloys.
Minor Modifications
73mm Carbon front/83mm rear badge fitted
Chrome around front grills wrapped in black
Connects 2 IPOD adaptor/3m mini jack lead/Noise Isolator/Ipod Windscreen Holder. All fitted, lead comes out at drivers vent.
Rear circular light mod completed
OEM Clear Indicators
Ebay, 2 x BMW carbon 82mm Indicator badges to stick to new clear indicators
2 x Fli Component speakers and tweeters fitted to both doors, crossovers fitted inside of door card. Vastly improved sound.

1 x foam insert removed from sound generator
Stubby Aerial
LED sidelights
Preventive Maintenance
DISA removed and cleaned, no play in securing pin, diaphragm working correctly
Throttle reset conducted
Roof drains cleared with HP air, drains fully functional
Callipers all round painted red, inside wheels cleaned
Hubs and brake shields all round rubbed back, undercoated and painted silver
All steering joint lubricated
Gearbox oil changed (using ATF, already owned), noticeable difference
Rear Diff oil changed (using 75w90 synthetic Oil), old oil was in good condition
General Maintenance
All roof mechanisms greased
Leather cleaned then re-dyed with black restored
Both headlight cleared of condensation, covers resealed to stop condensation
Tracking to front wheels
Hid conversion Kit removed, new OEM bulbs fitted
New Bosch wipers fitted
2 x Front Tyres
Car full de-tarred, clayed and machine polished

It even scrapes on my drive when I come in and out! The simple Mods are so much fun, the foam removing from sound generator really does make it sound awesome (or so my 13 year old thinks)
