2003-2004 Seat Question

If the seats hold your slim little figure in place, they're definitely the M seats. My seats don't even hold me in place. I just brace on both sides with my shins.
 
Mine do ok. Course when i'm cornering fast and hard I tend to push a little on the wheel with whichever hand is lower thus helping me stay in the seat. I'd love to get some bucket type seats with alot of lateral support. Like the seats in the Honda Tiberon(sp?)....I mean honestly we are getting a car that is superb for corners but the seats are not superb for corners :D
All honesty that's my only complaint with the Z4.

Tiburon has really nice supportive seats for a "mediocre" sports car. So does the Civic Si.

Z4, terrible lateral support. I wish I had M-Seats cuz this thing is SO FLAT

OK,
Recieved my seat covers today. Of course I want to get them installed......

Here is a before pic of the stock leather seats:

Now the after pictures. I was losing my light so they are not very good pictures:

Then I had to go driving for about 15min.

They (the covers) add some much needed padding to the original seats. They also do NOT allow me to slide around when cornering. :driving:
While driving, I put the seat heat on low. It took a little bit longer but I can feel the heat. I will give it about a week and then remove one to see what is happing to the leather.

They only took about 40 minutes to install.
 
My 21 year old son calls the car "A Darth Vader Machine" .. :evil:

I am not sure yet on the red striping. It does add contrast..
 
I like them. I had neoprene seat covers in my old chevy and they kept the butt warmer than the original cloth seats did.
 
Looks like they fit nice and snug. Nnnnnot too sure about the read outline though...I'd probably dye them but overall looks good :)
 
I LOVE the red outline! Looks great! Keep it, ignore these Nay sayers. IMO it puts just the right amount of color in that car.
 
Well, after seeing it in his photo comp. picture, it's not really that noticeable. I'd probably dye the whole damn cover red. I love red seats!

My wife likes your red seats too. She likes them better than ours.
