My 2000th post coz I didn't do a 1000th post.

The Story so far.

I was one day away from getting on a plane to fly to Londinium to buy a 2005 red 4 litre Convertible Mustang, Had even arranged that the dealer was going to pick me up at the airport in the car so I could test drive it back to the dealership and if I had bought it I would Just drive it back to Scotland.
But I was walking past an independant dealership and saw this in the window.
This is the first picture I had taken of the car after nearly a year of ownership, at this point it had NO modifications. The paintwork was in a very poor and sad state when I got the car, what you see in the picture is the result of my first ever car detailing efforts. I was in love with this car and it needed nothing to make it look any better

I also got a rollocking off the farmer for parking on his grass verge

Little did I know that lurking out there in t'internet land was a place that would infect me with an extremely infectious condition which was later diagnosed by Dr RichardG as Z4-itis.
After nearly a year of blisfull troublefree ownership I was innocently doing some research on OEM wheels when I stumbled across this forum :headbang: :headbang:

As I clicked the mouse to access the gallery My mouth was gaping as I feverishly clicked through the images of some Gorgeous Z's, I had stumbled across hardcore Z porn, a Nirvana of Zedism, I was hooked.

The first ever Scottish Forum Meet hosted by A11y, Still no mods at this point.

Then went a bit mad, Carbon fibre Roundels, Clear side repeaters, Eibach lowering springs, Powerflex bushes all round and a debadge

One of the top Achiements Bing is to be on the "Rolled with Taz x" list,
An achiement I have yet to aspire to.

Congrats Nosa. Great to meet you and all the others on a great Skye trip in 2011 when I too caught the Z4 bug. Hope to see you all again this year - Mrs Guiseley :)

Maybe we should start a rolled with the nosmeister thread? Looking forward to doing it again later in the year - and didn't the sol and lime work wonders on your brakedust!

Top bloke and huge fun to be with - even if he's taking the pi$$ ;) Coupe's rock!

Congrats mate

I will need to speak to you at the next meet. I want rid of my CDV, and am looking to de-ginger... You've done both ;)

Great write up and nice to see the car coming along. Loving how low it is :)

Me too on jaREDs red coupe - might have to hire some garage time near the next meet! I'll show him how to fit a stubby in exchange ;)

Told you before, Don't want something resembling a butt plug on my rear wing thanks, I prefer the dodgem car look.

Adam, more than happy to help with the CDV, If it's a weekend day, not raining, Pop down will take an hour tops start to finish.
De gingering is easy, Buy new lights, fit them.
