2000 Peugeot 306 XS Break/Spares/Repair?!?

I bought this car many moons ago from a dealer in Evesham with 44,000 miles on the clock.

It served me very, very well and has been reliable and excellent to own. A few years ago I sold it to my brother who also had many trouble free miles out of it.

Unfortunately the clutch has gone and potentially the gearbox as well making it an unconomical repair. The naughty scrap man will offer £50.00 for it and myself or my brother don't have the knowledge or time to break it. However the car now needs to go.

It's a phase 3 model in china blue with the GTI cyclone alloys. It has an MOT and I believe half a tank of petrol. The rear seats are like new and it's not long had a new exhaust too.

So what would you guys do? Is there someone that offers a breaking service?

Do we put it on ebay as a non runner and it goes to the highest bidder?

I love this car and it's a shame that it's gone this way. I was in two minds whether to save it but it's just not worth it.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks as always

Dan

Put it on ebay.

It's worth more than £50 in scrap, but you'd have to break it yourself to realise the higher value from a proper scrap metal merchant.

Or another solution.... Gti6 engines and boxes are cheap as chips these days..... Track slag? :P
