I'm still interested, the pics look like there's only 2 or 3mm left though. How many mm do you reckon? Found out if your going on your trip to my neck of the woods yet? You mentioned a trip to roxton which isn't far from me and I'm in no hurry

Hi Dan,

Roxton is now cancelled until Sept earliest - not sure how I could fit the tyres in with our luggage anyway!

Got a local chap coming over to measure the tyre depth & might be interested - will keep you updated.

They're only £131 each brand new from tyreleader.Co.uk

Thanks :D
Let's wait until the digital measurements arrive later on tread depth, as when I measured the coin edge it was looking more like 5mm rather than 2-3mm. Buyers see differently to sellers tho - all depends on what they want.

Between £50-60 has been the going rate for tyres on here recently as research it prior to posting. if they have only served 1/3 of their life, or less, then I would have said that getting 2 tyres with c.10k left on them for less than the price of a new one is pretty good value.

I'd say given I've had 4 enquiries on the tyres that the price cannot be too far off, remember, not everyone can afford or wants to spend £260 in one go if they can potentially avoid it

Apologies, I stupidly read it as 120 each tyre.

120 all in isn't too bad at all really if they have 5mm tread.

Ha ha - no worries mate!

Was wondering what the difference was following your sale of 2 tyres with 5mm tread for £130 when they were £120 each new....thought you were being a little harsh! :P

All forgiven

Update, tread was +6mm across the tyres, as measured by Dave when he kindly popped over to measure them & then promptly purchased them.

Sorry logistics weren't working out Dan, Dave is only about 10mins away.

Thanks Matt. Search ebay for 'digital tread gauge', quite a useful tool.

Gutted as they were perfect. Shame I didn't live closer, so no worries Matt.

Thanks

Dan
