So my RFTs have finally given out. As I've been waiting for them to go, so I could swap them out for non RFTs, I'm happy. I have some curb damage on 2 of the wheels that I'd like to have repaired. I have 18 inch 108s.
2 questions:
1. What should I ask when calling around to tire shops to ensure they can properly align my car once the new tires are installed? According to an old post by cj10jeeper, http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17726&p=256357&hilit=cost+refurb#p256360 , not every shop can properly align a Z4, which could cause my new tires to wear out prematurely.
2. What do wheel refurb companies generally charge in the United States? I've seen the UK prices on this forum and can do the exchange rate math, but was wondering if anyone in the US has paid to have their wheels refurbished.
