Popped done to the local tesco roof down, did the shopping put it away in the boot started the car and all hell let loose dash lite up like a xmas tree womens voice informing me lights had failed please pull over and check lights then visit dealer!
Ignored stupid bitch drove home thought empty shopping find faulty bulb job sorted.
Got home went to get shopping from boot and whoops it wont open, weather looked a bit sad so tried to raise roof, women tells me this action not available at present!
A couple of phone calls later nice bmw rescue man arrives to sort me out, problem is the module he needs to get at is in the boot which refuses to open, without giving too much away after an hour of cursing and removing of various bits of the car eventually the boot opens to fix the fault disconnect the battery (in the boot) and reset all modules and car now operating as it should. Motal of story by an old car that has a key to open the boot! On the good side the tech told me its only the second time he has encountered this fault hopefully it wont happen again or of course it may do it tomorrow, I hate modern cars! Give me a 80 s ford you could open with any old key/screwdriver
