2 questions: bluetooth ringtone and automatic lights

Hi all,

Couple of questions:

1) The ringtone on my Z4MC when I receive a call is different from my previous Z4 - this is much more shrill and not as nice! MC is a year older than the 3.0 I had so did they just change it at some point? Or have I got the option of changing it somewhere?

2) The automatic lights are much less sensitive than on my previous Z4, almost to the point where I have to turn them on myself because it's getting too dark! Is that adjustable?

Can't comment ont he ring tone... dont know if there is any option to change the tone....

For me the automatic lights are over sensitive...they seem to come on main beam when its still light out, im forever turning them off again.... maybe u need it checked by a garage.. could be a sensor or control system issue.
 
No idea on the ringtone.

The sensitivity of the auto lights can be adjusted by the dealer programming it. Likely a previous owner has had it turned to a less sensitive setting.
 
Interesting, dealer told me a porkie and said light sensitivlty could not be adjusted.

Note line 10 of the coded options - on mine programmed to 'sensitive' - what porkies.....

It's also in the handbook that it can be reprogrammed. No mention of rongtones in there though.
 
Different from my setting, on my 2007 sheet the sensitivity was a value between 1 and 4, not sensitive or not.
 
Thanks guys - it's in tomorrow for a few bits to be sorted so will get them to print off a sheet of current settings and adjust if necessary.
 
Yes I half expect to, but they sold me a Z4MC with various faults about 3 weeks ago which is the reason it's going back in, so I will try my luck at getting it done FOC.

That's what we used to call ringtones that were really bad.

e.g. one guy (not a young lad either) had a recording of his mother saying "Come on Paul, get up, it's time for work" that he used as an alarm tone, but had 'accidently' set up as a ringtone.
