2 more runs in the North East?

Steph and I would like to organise at least a couple more runs before the end of the season - thoughts?

Firstly: 'NORTHUMBERLAND COAST AND CASTLES'

We wonder if there would be a take up for a more leisurely run - we fancy a run through some lovely countryside in Northumberland. From Newcastle to Rothbury, past Edlingham to Alnwick. Then head to the coast visit Bamburgh (wonderful location for such an impressive castle). Follow coast to Seahouses (for a fish and chip lunch), Craster (beautiful little harbour) and back via Alnmouth and Warkworth (another brilliant castle and a later fabulous ice-cream stop) to Newcastle.

This would be a more relaxed run as there were some forumites who said they would enjoy such a run out. Fabulous scenic routes, 'Northumberland, Coast and Castles'.

Would anyone be interested in a more laid back run?

Secondly: 'BORDER RAID'

A further 'hoon' up to Kielder - some great roads to get there: back roads to Belsey, A68 to Kirkharle, to Chollerford, to Bellingham, to Kielder. From there the boundary road around Kielder and on to Hawick and a return route (we haven't decided yet). Can I call this a 'Border Raid' without upsetting our Scottish contingent?!

We're interested to know if there would be a take up for either run - dates to be finalised as a best fit for as many as possible - say one run second week in September and one at the end of September/beginning Oct.

Any comments and thoughts?
Paul and Steph

Definitely up for a September run Paul depending on dates but October is out as the Zed will be sorned until next spring

Hi Paul, two great itenaries. Please count us in but only for September dates. Sorry can't make any dates in October - out of the country!
On another issue - do you and Craig still meet up on a Wednesday morning, just I'm off work next week and was hoping to tag along? We could always do a recce for the two runs?

Can't speak for Craig - I'll send him a text to check but Steph and I are both available next week (do you mean NOT this week but the week after?)
We could certainly meet and have a run out - would be great!

Thanks for that - we've enjoyed the first runs and having got them 'under our belt' we feel a little more ready and experienced to organise some more.
Hope you will be able to get there!
