Just set off.. Got 2 miles and idrive pops up 'low pressure front right tyre' I stop and check, massive screw in tyre! They're down to 3mm anyhow :(

at least you were almost ready for a change. I got screwed on 3rd day on new tyres in new car, at first I thought it was another alloy crack from a pothole that jumped out at me the day before... swore a lot.

If you could have got the wheel off the car, I would have got towed home, wheel off and give a tyre plug kit a go, 4 quid off e-bay, nothing to lose except a couple of hundred if it had worked

Tim.

Why get towed home? :?

I guess I wouldn't if only 2 miles from home but if some distance it might be worth it if I was looking at repairing a runflat. BMW recommend you don't repair them as they could be potentially damaged when driven whilst flat and I suspect a get out clause on their part for any compensation claims should the tyre fail after a repair.

You were robbed, I had the rears replaced on my 293's last week and they were £232 each! :police:

Are they 18 or 19 inch though? 19 inch is where prices leap up!

FabZ4 has the same 293 18" as me!!
It was his price i said was robbery, not your 19"
