2 JL 8" W3 Subs in Center Console!

IM BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTHER PROJECT!! this is the center console inside my car, u mite remember the other project with the DVD player double din with vents, now this time i wanted subs in my car so why not do in my car instead of my trunk

But why didn't you use the bins? Seems like a bit of a waste of space and means there is even less storage? Plus it would have kept the OEM look for when you want to get rid of the car?
 
I imagine a major reason will be that the bins won't take a JL 8W3. These will give a *much* bigger punch than a shallow mount 6x9. As an ex car audio freak I thoroughly approve of this mod. :D
 
Unreal....if only I had the ability to do this!

I would actually pay someone a decent amount of cash if they could install a similar setup in my Z!

Slightly off but kind of still on topic, i guess 8" couldn't fit behind the seats but would 6.5" subs?
 
thanks everyone :D the reason why the bin is there is because when i drive,my elbow doesn't hit the subs and yes it does make the sound better :D i love it, next project will be my rims, gonna try to paint it, and also change the emblems then seats, and maybe down the road I'm going to do a hardtop :D
