SOLD

I've agreed a P/X on this, in a couple of weeks so I thought I'd throw it out to the forum in case anyone is interested to take it instead.

Good bits:

Brand new roof motor fitted earlier in the spring
Nearly new Vreds fitted all four corners
Brand new Bosch S5 battery fitted a few weeks ago with four year guarantee.
Gaptech fitted
Inspection II completed last year. Next service (Oil) not due until May next year.
Hunter alignment recently completed with print out
Storm gear knob fitted (original available)
Eibach Prokit fitted last year
Unused Slime tyre repair kit with compressor
Throw in lots of detailing goodies, including unused tampico brush, and Renovo Roof kit worth circa £40.
Brand new boxed genuine interior door pull covers (not fitted yet)
Monkey Tips fitted
New stubbie Aerial fitted (original available)

Options and stuff with Sport:

Black Sapphire metallic
Sports seats with heating
18 inch MV2s
Rear PDC
Wind deflector
Climate Control
MFSW
Auto lights and wipers
Cup Holders

Technical:

81K
2 former keepers (+me)
MOT February 2015
Taxed until end of August

Condition:

I'd rate 8/10. Normal W&T commensurate with age. Driver bolster slightly marked, rusty discs, hubs and calipers, plastic on MFSW etc

Things you should know:

The front end is quite chipped. Pretty common on these but shows up on black under close inspection. A couple of chips on the wings as well.
This car is quite thirsty on fuel. Average currently 22MPG. Might be able to be improved upon by someone handier than I.
The first service recorded in the book is at 27241, within 2 years but possible a service was missed? BMW main dealer serviced until last service was BMW Specialist
There's a tiny tick like mark on the interior leather above the glove box. It doesn't even show up in photos but may bother an enthusiast / OCD type!
The wheels are generally in good nick, but I think the previous seller only refurbed the faces so there's flaking where it can't be seen. Two of the wheels are not perfect, slight pot hole influence damaged.

I'm based in Milton Keynes. PM if genuine interest or want some more info/pix. Anyone wanting to test drive will need to have proof that they're comprehensively insured. I'll be available evenings after 6pm or next weekend for viewing if anyone is genuinely interested.

Gave the alloys a wash today...

This is the one with slight pot hole damage, spoke just right of 6 o'clock.

I'll throw in that lovely weighted genuine BMW Z4 key ring :driving:

Thanks for looking :)

Love the 2 tone trim & facelift 2.5 for 2.0 money

Thanks mr wilks :). Low price is due to the chips and the fuel consumption. I could just reset the OBD and drive up the motorway, but full disclosure to the forum :)

Hi, why is the fuel consumption so bad? Or are all 2.5si the same? I thought the newer si engine was better on fuel?

There appears to be a trend for the 2.5Si's to have high consumption when compared to the 3.0Si judging by user experience on the forum. It's pretty much been the same for me in over two years of ownership, low compared to official figures. I'll get over 30 on the motorway.

I don,t think the MPG is so bad / most folks on 6 cylinders ( non M ) tootling around will be showing 22mpg or thereabouts if reset trip
. I know my Zc sat at 22 average for the majority of my ownership as it did very little distance running , If reset before a 30mile trip to Manchester then 31/32mpg would be the average but would soon drop back to low 20's .
Current 2.2 Brera is showing exactly the same 22mpg in the 150 miles ive had it whereas our A6 Tdi is showing 33mpg average over 4500 miles :)
horses for courses eh

Nice colour combo! GLWTS

Thanks Wyldie85.

This car still looks the nuts imo and I'm moving it on with a heavy heart. Great looks and power combination for circa 7k and a lot of the big bill potential out of the way. The rubber alone was £500 nice for a buyer not to have to worry about that. After more than two years I still find myself staring at it!

Quite agree, it is a lot of car for the money! Tyres are a huge outlay and that's been sorted now so no quibbles there.

Hope it's a quick and painless sale!

Pleased to be able to say that the car is staying on the forum. It was a pleasure doing business with this member

Hopefully he gets as much enjoyment out of it as I have had. Like a good woman, this enjoyment has had its associated costs :P

Yep I got it, very happy with my purchase. And also thanks to Steve for showing me around the car and telling me all I need to know. Been out all afternoon with the roof down!

Thanks again, and I hope you like your new car when it arrives
